This list is not an endorsement: it shows what each clinic publishes, per the clinic itself, and GLP Claro did not verify it.

How to tell if an online GLP-1 clinic is legit? Short answer: check whether the clinic requires a screening and a prescription from a licensed clinician, whether it fills it at a state-licensed pharmacy, and whether it claims its compounded drug is the same as an FDA-approved one (it should not). Those are the FDA's own red flags (FDA, read Nov 2, 2026). As of Nov 2, 2026, our data has 33 telehealth clinics without an FDA warning letter in the batches we reviewed: 24 say they are LegitScript-certified (not verified by us) and 10 name their pharmacy. Another 11 clinics in our data have an FDA warning letter. No signal here is a safety rating, so check each one yourself before you pay.

Our data has 33 telehealth clinics without an FDA warning letter in the batches we reviewed. Of them, 24 say on their site that they are LegitScript-certified (we could not verify it on legitscript.com) and 10 name the pharmacy that prepares the medication. Another 11 clinics in our data do have an FDA warning letter and are not in this table. Total cost may vary.

Is online semaglutide safe? The FDA's telehealth red flags

The FDA lists these warning signs for telehealth companies selling GLP-1 drugs (FDA’s Concerns with Unapproved GLP-1 Drugs Used for Weight Loss, read Nov 2, 2026): it says the compounded drug is the same as an FDA-approved drug; it offers deep discounts or prices that seem too good to be true; it does not require a screening and prescription by a licensed doctor; there is no licensed doctor to answer questions after you get the medication; the medicine looks different from what was pictured or arrives damaged or without instructions; or the label has spelling errors, a wrong pharmacy address or a pharmacy name you think might be fraudulent.

Before you buy semaglutide online: check the pharmacy's license

The FDA says to fill a prescription at a state-licensed pharmacy and to look up an online pharmacy in your state board of pharmacy database. If it is not listed, the FDA says not to use it. If it is listed, also confirm that it requires a prescription, gives a US physical address and phone number, and has a licensed pharmacist to answer questions (FDA BeSafeRx: Locate a State-Licensed Online Pharmacy, read Nov 2, 2026). That is why the table shows whether each clinic names its pharmacy: you can only look up a pharmacy you know.

LegitScript and FDA warning letters: how to verify them

A LegitScript seal on a clinic's site is the clinic's claim. You can check it on LegitScript’s certification lookup; we could not, because the lookup asks for a reCAPTCHA. FDA warning letters are public on fda.gov warning letters; look for the clinic's name and for any close-out letter. Clinics with an active FDA warning letter in our data (for example Hims & Hers, letter dated Sep 9, 2025) are left out of this table and each has the notice on its profile.

How do I know if an online GLP-1 clinic is legit?

Check that it requires a screening and a prescription from a licensed clinician, that it names a pharmacy you can find in your state board of pharmacy database, that it does not say a compounded drug is the same as an FDA-approved one, and that it has no active FDA warning letter on fda.gov. Those checks come from the FDA's guidance (read Nov 2, 2026).

Is online semaglutide safe?

GLP Claro can't tell you whether a medication is safe for you; that is a question for a licensed clinician. The FDA says compounded GLP-1 drugs are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are marketed, and it recommends filling a prescription at a state-licensed pharmacy (FDA, read Nov 2, 2026).

Which GLP-1 clinics are LegitScript-certified?

As of Nov 2, 2026, 24 of the 33 clinics in this table say on their site that they are LegitScript-certified. We could not verify it, because the LegitScript lookup asks for a reCAPTCHA, so check it yourself on legitscript.com.

Which GLP-1 clinics have an FDA warning letter?

In our data, 11 clinics have an FDA warning letter in the batches we reviewed, for example Hims & Hers (dated Sep 9, 2025). Each one shows the notice on its GLP Claro profile with a link to fda.gov. Check fda.gov for any close-out letter.

Is compounded semaglutide the same as Ozempic® or Wegovy®?

No. Compounded semaglutide is not FDA-approved and is not the same as the brand-name drugs. It requires a prescription.
